Grandma Wild's
Grandma Wild's, now in its fourth generation, carries on the tradition of baking biscuits to many of the same recipes created by their great Grandmother Annie Wild over 100 years ago. From humble beginnings in the Victorian seaside resort of Morecambe, in Lancashire, Annie Wild ran a bakery shop and boarding house whilst being a full time mother to three boys.
Her eldest son John Wild decided to move back to his Yorkshire roots in the 1920’s, away from the seasonal summer trade, where Annie and her son opened a shop in Haworth, the original Wild’s Bakery, circa 1899. In 1928 he bought larger premises just outside Haworth and this remained the family bakery until the millennium, then moving on to larger premises in Steeton, West Yorkshire.
Today’s business holds true to the traditional family values and commitment of its founder Grandma Annie Wild all those years ago.

Street Lane bakery bake through the night, every night to create these delicious challahs, bagels, breads, cakes, pasties and doughnuts. Best of all, their doughnuts and pasties are completely dairy free.

Lottie Shaw's
Crowned as the ‘Official Taste Of Yorkshire’ in 2018 Lottie & her husband Ian built a new 12,500 sqft state of the art bakery, just a few miles from where her Great Aunts’ and later Grandfather ran the bakery over a century ago. Combining sustainable practices with a pride and passion for the tradition of ‘scratch baking’, Lottie Shaw’s continues to bake award-winning seriously good treats with the authentic taste of Yorkshire home baking just like her Great Aunts’.
